General Electric Aviation Manufacturing Facility

General Electric Aviation needed a 330,000-square-foot build-to-suit and leaseback facility at their Auburn, AL location. The office and manufacturing areas are fully air conditioned with extensive controls and process systems to support all manufacturing operations. To maximize productivity, the building was constructed using insulated concrete panels with a steel frame – a tried-and-true combination. Chesterfield worked alongside BL Harbert and Scannell Properties during site development to ensure proper acquisition, financing, and construction design.
